Today Judge Ronit Walker handed down her decision on the air permit appeals for Plant Washington. She ruled in our favor concerning particulate matter, carbon monoxide, and Maximum Available Control Technology (MACT). Along with our partners we are really pleased that after careful consideration Judge Walker has issued a ruling which reflects our concerns about the impact coal fired Plant Washington would have on our air quality.

FACE is a grassroots organization based in Washington County, Georgia. It was organized in 2008 by local residents who oppose a proposed 850 megawatt coal fired power plant.
